Lake Champlain Chocolates

from the "South End Smokestack Series"

Jackie Mangione has been painting and running her own business, Nature Inspired Designs, since 2004. Jackie’s studio is located in the Soda Plant at 266 Pine Street where she teaches classes and paints.  “I love turning people on to art and feel that each one of us holds our own unique creative energy that can be cultivated with instruction, practice and insight.”
Jackie’s new work is inspired by the industrial landscape in the South End Arts District. Of this current work she offers, “My new South End Series looks at rooftops and smokestacks. I like combining the rusty and scruffy nature of metal with the natural landscape as a background.”
You can visit Jackie in her Pine Street studio during a First Friday Art Walk, where she sells original framed paintings, prints, notecards and more. Commissions and studio visits by appointment are welcomed.

At Lake Champlain Chocolates, our goal has always been the creation of something special. The union of the rich history of making fine chocolate, the heritage of craftsmanship, and the wonderful flavors of Vermont is accomplished every day at our factory, producing sweet indulgences with pride that goes into each bite. Perhaps that’s why The New York Times reveres it as “some of the best chocolate in the country.”
In 1998, we moved to our present location at 750 Pine Street. We make all of our chocolates in one 24,000 square foot building. During peak season, we’re nearly 100 people.
The growing team at Lake Champlain Chocolates continues with the highest standards of chocolate-making that founder Jim Lampman began with twenty years ago, and still uses only the freshest, natural ingredients.
