CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE’S EXPERIMENTAL ART INSTALLATIONS
Champlain College’s Pavilion, 404 Pine Street Parking Lot
Featuring interactive digital experiences developed by the Emergent Media Center’s Sandbox team. Working out of the college’s new Makerlab, this team is made up of talented students from across the college. These experimental art installations include Icarus, an Oculus Rift-based virtual reality flying game controlled by 6′ wings; Pixel Cloud, a giant data-driven light sculpture; Variance, a three-person cooperative game featuring highly unusual game controllers; and Graffiniti, a body-controlled painting environment.

Watch Emily McCracken, the Lake Champlain Chocolates’ Chocolate Sculptress recently featured on the Food Network, create one of her exquisite chocolate sculptures from start to finish in the Education Kitchen. PRESERVATION BURLINGTON ANNUAL WALKING TOUR

Join Preservation Burlington for a Pine Street walking tour highlighting the fascinating history and architecture of Burlington’s former gritty, industrial neighborhood. Three walking tours will be offered beginning in front of the SEABA office at 404 Pine Street: 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:00pm. Tours will last approximately 1.25 hours. Donations accepted to benefit Preservation Burlington.
