Kids Hop

Saturday, September 10 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Kids Hop is presented by SEABA with the assistance of area organizations and Kids Hop Volunteers.  Kids Hop is a free event thanks to our generous sponsor, KidsVT, Burlington Electric, and participating businesses.  Hop all along the South End Arts District to visit family-friendly venues featuring hands-on creativity, music and fun.    This event is free, and designed for families with children ages 3-12.

Join us for a tent filled with arts and crafts activities provided by KidsVT, Burlington Electric, Little Artsy Faces, Shelburne Craft School, COTS, Davis Studio, Spookyville Vermont, Charles Norris Brown, SEABA, Aikido of Champlain Valley, and other organizations that do great work with kids.

Burlington’s first-in-the-nation 100% renewable utility is proud to announce our participation in and support of Art Hop and Kids Hop 2016. Please join us at Kids Hop from 10am-2pm to decorate plastic “hard” hats with energy efficiency and safety stickers and to take a photo with Burlington Electric friend and Lake Monsters mascot, Champ, an avid energy efficiency advocate, who will join us from noon-1pm. Then, stroll down the road to Burlington Electric to view and be inspired by 100% local sculpture art and 100% local, live music. Members of the Burlington Electric team will be on hand to answer your questions about renewability, sustainability, energy efficiency, and more.
