Sign up for your Early Bird 2013 Art Hop Registration now!

Art Hop Early Bird Registration for both Artist’s and Site’s is up and running, so don’t miss your chance to become part of the South End’s, and Vermont’s largest, remarkable exhibition of visual art.

Now in its 21st year, (yea, we’re barely legal!) the South End Art Hop is a three day event occurring on the weekend following the Labor Day holiday. It attracts over 30,000 visitors, the majority from outside Burlington. Visitors are attracted to the South End artist’s studios, and local businesses that are refit as art galleries and exhibition sites for the more than 500 participating artists. The event celebrates the unique characteristics of the Pine Street corridor, in particular the development of concentrated creative and artistic activity that has been established in numerous re-purposed factories and warehouses within the District. This corridor has been designated, and recognized, as the South End Arts District.

The Clothes Exchange + SEABA = Great Things to Come!

We are excited to announce that starting this month, SEABA, The South End Arts and Business Association, will take the reigns and be the new force behind production of Clothes Exchange events in Burlington.

Clothes Exchange fans will be happy to know that plans for a Spring event are already in the works and shoppers can expect the same top quality clothing and fun shopping experience. SEABA will continue the tradition of “shopping for a cause” and will select a local nonprofit partner to receive a portion of event proceeds. The beneficiary partner for the Spring event will be announced in March.

SEABA’s commitment to a vibrant community, experience running smashing events, including Art Hop (now in its 21st year), Holiday sHop and STRUT! and creative vision for The Clothes Exchange will help ensure more fantastic Clothes Exchange events in the years to come.

We’ll be in touch soon with more details about the Spring event and to let you know how you can shop, volunteer and support The Clothes Exchange.  For more information, please contact
