At Lake Champlain Chocolates, our goal has always been the creation of something special. The union of the rich history of making fine chocolate, the heritage of craftsmanship, and the wonderful flavors of Vermont is accomplished every day at our factory, producing sweet indulgences with pride that goes into each bite. Perhaps that’s why The New York Times reveres it as “some of the best chocolate in the country.”In 1998, we moved to our present location at 750 Pine Street. We make all of our chocolates in one 24,000 square foot building. During peak season, we’re nearly 100 people.The growing team at Lake Champlain Chocolates continues with the highest standards of chocolate-making that founder Jim Lampman began with twenty years ago, and still uses only the freshest, natural ingredients. |

Annual Meeting + Flamingo Fling
June 16th at the Soda Plant
Meeting 5 – 5:30pm, Festivities 5:30 – 8:30pm
$15 admission, $10 for members (you can sign up at the event)
Special thanks to all of the artists and businesses who have picked up a Flamingo to decorate for this years Annual Meeting + Flamingo Fling.
Join us as we discover a truly strange and beautiful gathering of pink (and black) birds on June 16th at the Soda Plant, 266 Pine Street., 5 – 8:30pm.
The evening promises good food and drink, music (featuring Me & You), and perhaps a speech or two, as SEABA celebrates the South End in style.
The evening begins at 5pm with a recap of SEABA’s year and a look forward. Your comments are welcome during this meeting. Following the meeting you can enjoy an evening of flamingos, art, food and music.. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you!
Missed a Flamingo? You may still participate in a corresponding group show at The Soda Plant. The Art of Networking is open to all Vermont artists and you will gain free entry to an evening of food, drinks, networking, & flamingos! You may drop off up to two pieces that represent you and your artistic style to The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery during open hours, Thursday – Saturday from 11-4pm, until June 11th. Bring along a completed submission form or pick one up at the gallery; drop off and entry fee details here: The Art of Networking

Into the Intervale will feature oil paintings of the farms, trails and river by Katharine Montstream throughout the month of June at The SEABA Center.

Moving to Vermont in 1985, Katharine Montstream was anxious to discover new places and see what Burlington had to offer. It was summer and she found herself in the Intervale with the most amazing roadside crop of blackberries she had ever seen. Pies came in abundance that August and her curiosity for the Intervale continued to grow. What’s not to love about this space? 350 acres within our city limits and 15 organic, sustainable farms. Eating local produce and seeing it served in our public schools.When Montstream visits the Intervale, she appreciates the fertile land and what it offers visually. To produce a new body of work from this place was an obvious choice for this exhibit.
