“Abstract work is sometimes difficult for people to relate to so my mission a year ago was to find a way to combine the familiar but with an abstract twist. This is when the marriage of Vermont maps and acrylic paint came to be.”
Opening reception is Friday, July 11th 5-8 p.m.

Now in its 22nd year, the South End Arts & Business Association has presented a remarkable exhibition of visual art, Vermont’s largest, the South End Art Hop. Attracting more than 35,000 people to this 3 day event, it is truly an artistic spectacle showcasing the vast creativity of the Vermont community.

‘Beyond Measure’ at the SEABA Gallery June 6-27th
Carleen Zimbalatti’s fourth curatorial project, the exhibition Beyond Measure, initiates a dialog with artists who engage in and apply strong structural rudiments to [in] form their working process. The exhibition is a platform highlighting the underlying strategies geometry plays in each of artist’s formative explorations and provides an intriguing bridge between present-day art making and the point at which the artists converge and diverge from one another.
