Darren Perron of WCAX - Event MC!
Darren is an Anchor, Award-Winning Reporter and Executive Producer at WCAX-Channel 3 News and has won the National Edward. R. Murrow Award, four Emmy Awards, 14 Associated Press Awards, and so many more. Darren is a native Vermonter from the Northeast Kingdom and currently resides in Burlington.
WCAX was the first television station in Vermont and is celebrating 70 years this year! It remains the leading news station in the state.

Clover Chapel
Inspired by all things enchanted and ethereal, with a love for the beauty of nature, I started designing clothing and completed my first collection in 2023. My garments are fairy-like and often resemble flowers and snowflakes. All of the materials I use are vintage, antique, and sourced second hand.

Dakin Fuller (born Kara Torres) is a nonbinary Burlington, VT-based artist working in mediums that include acrylic on canvas, watercolor, and using upcycled and repurposed materials to make clothing and jewelry. Their materials-centered practice aims to reduce waste by using preexisting materials.

Gerald Fitzpatrick / Killerjeanne fabricates wearable art appliances and fits to the human body. A retired prosthetist (limb maker) who uses those skill sets acquired to create off the wall designs. He has two studios and divides his time between Champlain, New York and Columbus, Ohio.

I'm a self taught designer, originally from Ohio, specializing in crochet , which I have been doing since the age of 12. I started making clothes in the late 90's for a photographer friend and haven't stopped since.

Street Fairy is a one-woman operated upcycling venture where I breathe new life into preloved clothing and discounted items, transforming them into unique creations. This art of re-creating and crafting from scratch has long been my personal passion. Now, I aim to extend my artistic endeavors beyond myself and share them with others who often inquire about my style. The joy I derive from pouring my creativity into my craft is immense.

In 2019 Self-taught artist and lifelong Vermonter Tonya Whitney left full-time work in tech to focus on art, which led to an inspiring year-long (2021-22) SEABA art studio residency. Her current work is whimsical paper-mache sculptures (some can be worn!) and illustrations. Check her out online!

Katarina Lisaius learned to sew from her mom, a costume designer, as a child. Her current work upcycles blankets and fabrics into wearable outerwear. The pieces always nod to their original design and function, while also celebrating their reimagined identities.
SEABA is thrilled to bring back STRUT this May 4th! Once a big part of the South End Art Hop, the event became so popular we decided it deserves its very own weekend!
Join us in the gorgeous event space at HULA, 50 Lakeside Ave. in Burlington, Vermont for an exciting show featuring a talented group of local fashion designers as their models walk the runway in custom designs.
Join us when doors open at 4pm, we'll lead you to your seats, then just sit back and enjoy the 90 minute runway show! At 6pm you will be invited to stick around for a meet & greet with the designers. You will have an opportunity to shop merch, order clothes, or sign up to follow their brand updates!
